  • Anyone else racing? Apparently so, since according to the athlete guide we are the most represented D1 team...

  • @Bill Manard - @Steve Harley is racing.
  • I'm in, but not sure how "in" I'll be.  I'm just getting back to training very slowly after having pneumonia the past 2.5 weeks.  Yesterday's ride wasn't pretty, and we'll see how the long rides go this weekend...

Fortunately, I'd not planned on this being an "A" race, but I'd still like to at least cross the finish standing.
  • Bill, I'm sure that you'll cross the finish line better than just standing...you're an ENer!

This is not an A race for me, either.  Although I don't look at a HIM as studying for the IM test, I do look at it as an indicator to whether or not my study habits are good.  It is its own race.  I'm looking forward to it.  I think I'll look good in red.  :)

Recover well and adjust accordingly, Bill.

This race is the old Milkman course.  Has anyone raced that before?

  • Thanks for the support, Steve.  I was basically planning this as a Big Day workout, more or less.  Since I didn't get to do 70.3 Florida due to logistic issues, however, it has taken on a little more mental importance as my only scheduled HIM.

I just found the Tri-club list on the IM website for this race.  As Brenda always says, make sure you have your club affiliation updated so that we get all of the points!
