Welcome and Who Is In?

Time to start planning, if you are in, we need to know. Please sign up for the event weekend via the official Boston Epic Info Sheet Here, and make sure your other EN friends do so as well!

Thanks!

  • In the original email, the swim & bike were for marathoners only. Just want to confirm that's still the case so I can sign up for the social stuff and drink beer with you all without having to worry about dehydration.
  • +1 on Keith's question.  If it's marathoners only, I'll go social, but otherwise would love to try to get in some swimming/biking with the group.

  • The form has the options to say you want to swim and/or bike only ... or even just meet up social stuff.
  • I'm not doing the marathon but should be able to join in for the swim and bike - I hope the marathoners won't mind but we'll pay them back for letting us play by being there to shout at support them on the Monday!

  • I'm in, but not 100% sure about the swim or bike. I'll do it, but I need a bike. I think the Halligan was hookin' me up, but I'll have to check the thread from last fall. I know someone offered. I'll ride, but I ain't shippin' the bike out there. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
  •  Where the HECK would we swim? I am a wuss, 'nuff said. Indoors would be good. Boring but good.

I'd be up for social stuff and doing the ride as long as I didn't have to worry about all you guys getting flats again  . I'd just go my pace and meet you at the end.

I have contemplated taking marathon day off to cheer you guys on. It really is a big deal around these parts. I'll see what vaca time I have.

Bill, IIRC, you need a 54 or 56, right?  I'll put feelers out as the time gets a bit closer.

  • Bill, I've got a 54 road bike and could ride my tri bike, if that size works for you.

  • Love the interest folks...please push this out to the other EN peeps you know are on the Boston Marathon short list who might have missed it...more to come!
