, and wake up when I wake up - usually 5:30-6.
For the OS, I swim twice a week in the morning, lift weights twice a week usually AM, and generally do weekday OS workouts in the PM (2-4ish). On weekends, I'll ride Sat morning, and Sunday swim AM/run PM.
I only work 1-2 days a week x 24 hours each, so I have a lot of free time to fit it all in.
A race is IM Hawaii.
What time do you awaken? 4:30 to 5:30 Am depending on workout

IMWI
- Biking in the evening. In the morning I spend time with my kids before heading off to work. They wake up at 6am. The flip side is that they go to bed at 6pm, so I can usually get on the bike by about 7pm unless I have a lot of work to do. Of course if I'm flying in from somewhere or things are busy at work then all bets are off – I've been known to get on the bike at 9 or 10pm. My latest brick in last year's OS wrapped up after midnight. Lucky for me I can fall right asleep after a 30 minute cool-off. On Saturdays I bike in the morning…usually really early so as not to upset the weekend family plans.
- Running I fit in when I can. On Wednesdays I usually get out of the office mid-day at some point. On Sunday usually after lunch or after the kids go to bed. Sometime if I'm on the road I'll run in the morning, but that is rare because I won't set an alarm to wake up for a workout…sleep is too important and I can usually figure out how to shoehorn the run in somehow.
What time do you awaken? 6am, unless I'm traveling and in a hotel, in which case I'll sleep in as long as I can. I really try to catch up on sleep big-time when traveling.
Go to Sleep? I shoot for 10pm, although truthfully I'm probably a bit worse than 50/50 on hitting that.
Are you Swimming during the OS? Not at the moment. I plan to re-start lessons and 2x/week drill sessions in March, then light workouts in April. Full HIM workouts in May.
How many days/week?
What is your A race for 2012? Pleasant Prairie Olympic-distance and Racine 70.3. I'd like to PR at both if I can. Then I think I'll probably change gears and train for my first-ever marathon…I registered for Chicago. However, if I'm lucky enough to qualify again for Vegas at Racine (not likely, but you never know…) then I'll race that in September.
Cheers!
