2012 Ironman Cozumel Pre-Race Update

 Hello Ironman Cozumel Folks!

Are you getting excited yet!?  Just a couple of things for ya as you plan for race week.



Meet The Team Bios

One of our favorite things to do is send out a "Meet the Team" post before each race via the EN blog. If you'd like to let the rest of the Nation know exactly who they are supporting online (and help the coaches put faces to names), please send (1) a short bio (think 8-10 sentences) with (2) a nice picture of you, you and fam, you racing, etc. to  ENRaceDirector@Gmail.com and we'll make you famous!  PLEASE no Word documents and send pics as email attachments.

Race Day Tracker

The IMCOZ Race Tracker can be found here:  http://marcrobards.com/tracker/2012/cozumel/en/static/



If you aren’t familiar with the tracker, it is an easy way for friends, family, etc. to follow you on race day. It updates all day as you cross the timing mats and is WAY easier than using Athlete Tracker on Ironman.com.   The data will start populating when the gun goes off on race morning. Here is what a tracker looks like.



GroupMe

I did some quick research and I can’t tell if GroupMe will work in Cozumel.  So unless I hear otherwise from one of you super smart international telecom understanding folks I will not be setting this up for you.
