Understanding the Clinic Spreadsheets...
Week 1 Test, Week 6 Test Sheets: This is the combination of baseline (week 1) and final (week 6) results.
In Week 1 (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...&hl=en) we are essentially comparing your first 5' and 20' values with your most recent FTP test (2x20') to see how "accurate" your 5'/20' test was.
Column L = Monod method, calculating the slope of the work vs. time relationship of your 5' and 20' values to "predict" a 60' value.
Column M = 20' value * .95, as suggested by Coggan (for shits/giggles here).
Column N and O compare Monod value (L) and your recently tested FTP value (H) to your 5' power so we can see how "close" they are (column R).
We use the above numbers to confirm that you 5' value is accurate for your pVO2 intervals and to learn more about your fitness (do you have a high roof / VO2 or higher ceiling (FTP?). We can then compare with final numbers as generated in week 6.
Weekly PVO2 Sheet (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...&hl=en) is new for 2010 as we want your data from the key workouts, not just posts saying how hard it all is. We got really soft on folks last year only to find out afterwards that most were doing well on the work, you'd never know that just talking to them however!
Note: P is the spreadsheet guru, so hit him with your feedback/needs!

Hi Patrick - just a heads up that my w/kg is still 11.9 on the first spreadsheet. I'm happy for you to leave it at that
but I'm sure it will skew your numbers for the whole clinic at the end so you may want to change it.
