Selling my used Pool-mate for $50. It counts laps in a pool (no gps, so not open water) . I was thinking FINIS because I like the idea of lap data within a set - did you find this to be limiting?
What are you upgrading to, and do you like the unit?

Nemo - reviews on the accuracy of the device are variable - want your assessment - love the idea of having something to count the sets for me!

I found the Pool-Mate to be very reliable in counting laps. The user interface isn't the easiest thing in the world, but once you learn it, it's not bad. The one thing it (and every other accelerometer based lap counter) has trouble with is if you change speed within a lap. So for example, the set is 3x200 where you swim the last 50 of each 200 fast. Sometimes it will goof up on those kinds of sets.
I'm selling it because I bought a 910XT which has the same functionality (and above stated problem) and simply no longer need it.
Oh- and FWIW, I bought the pink primarily because I wanted to be able to find the dang thing at the bottom of that black hole know as my swim bag!
