I'm hiring a neighborhood thug I know to sucker punch me and break my jaw. If its wired shut between now and May I can get down to about 200. Still conceeding the KOM's though.
Nemo, come on up in April. I've got a few steepies near Luray we can jumar up.
I fiugre if I don't eat between now and then I might be ok
They got Stages 7 & 8 up. Question...Will we get to ride the 20 mile loop of stage 8 on the last day? or do we just watch since last day before going home?

haven't watched the video but it depends on the route and the start time. I have a feeling that we will have had our mileage ticket sufficiently punched and will be fine with watching the tt, stalking Basso in the pits (Leigh), etc. We also need to pack bikes, we'll have juggle checkout times south hotels, Nd get everyone to the airports. I'm leaning towards a spctator admin day and an early camp dinner.
I'm just stoked that Stage 4 starts 10.1 miles away from my house! So while I won't be able to join you all for the week, I hope that I can escort you out of town!
But please don't ask me anything about the route - I don't get out that way in my car much, let alone on a bike!
Yep, this is getting out among the locals. On April 24th I was going to ride the entire stage with my crew but looks like we'll go a different route. We'll still get in about half the route and 3/4 the distance. This is likely our plan for Friday:
I'm not sure the elevation gain on this route is correct. Seems kinda fishy to me. Anyway, execellent roads, we should be able to get into BB in time to see the finish, etc. Easy to bailout at any point on this ride. Trust me, we will have gotten our mileage cards punched by Friday

This conservation really happened. I seriously had no clue what 42 miles of climbing meant.

Nemo,
Just think how stinkin' strong you'll be after you get through it all. The hills of Wisconsin will be a breeze!
Looks like a kick ass route! So excited to get back out to Cali.
