Just found this on velo news. Lance beat him be 15 seconds, but ave speed was 56 km/hr. Can you imagine biking solo at 34-35 mph for almost 20 minutes?

To set the record straight.....
Picked Lieto up at LAX that night and he showed me video where he outran the scooter following him going down back side of scenic overlook. Scooter topped out at 40mph. Also, Lance got him by 9 seconds!!

I will be at CDA as support for some of my buddies and likely volunteer at the ART booth a day or two while I'm there. Maybe we could meet up there and I can so you my "assitance" skillset: lousy driving, ART, coffee fetching expert, etc.
I was bummed Chris sold the Base Van before I got a chance to let him know I was interested in it. I have a family of 7 and could have used that monster to convert to a cool ride for my kids.
