There aren't any great options @Andrew Lustigman. Nothing walkable. Anything in St. Joe or Benton Harbor will suffice and the key is getting their early enough to allow for parking and walk to transition while not in a rush.
@Andrew Lustigman, I have a pretty cheap hotel with decent reviews. If you are interested in rooming together to save some dough, I can send you the details. Last year I booked late & paid a fortune for a room in a cheap hotel (Red roof inn or something).
