Triathlon Flexibility

Has anyone ever met with anyone to address flexibility type issues specific to triathletes?

I'm thinking this could be done remotely via zoom.

Does EN have anyone we recommend?

@John Schneider I meet with my pilates instructor via FaceTime since mid-March. I was able to secure some hardware from her studio before the lockdown so that we can have effective weekly sessions. That said, I've been going to her for 2+ years, so I am comfortable and understand the movements. It would've been very difficult for me to start out with her virtually without having the benefit of face-to-face instruction.

EN has five plans on FinalSurge under "Strength Training" across core, functional, and plyometrics. You could check those out and see if they hit the areas you want to focus on.

Additionally, there are also many types of strength and mobility routines on YouTube and most do not require much, if any, equipment.

I've worked with her privately, and she has helped me so much.

Aside from yoga, I've worked with a kinesiologist.

I have more resources to share, and will do so in a new post.

    John,

    Additional resources:

    Yoga Tune Up Balls (https://www.tuneupfitness.com/shop/self-massage-therapy-balls)

    MELT Method (https://www.meltmethod.com/)

MFR (Myofascial Release) (John Barnes - https://www.myofascialrelease.com/)

Yin Yoga (I just certified in Yin Yoga, and highly recommend it. Instead a flow based yoga practice, it is a handful of poses held for a longer period of time). https://www.yogajournal.com/yoga-101/yin-yoga-2

    Good luck!

    Beth
