Week 3 scheduling help???
Hi all, question as I plan out week 3 especially that nice 5 hour bike/run combo for sat! I am taking my wife to Italy Fri afternoon (I know, not great planning - although to my credit I did plan most of the trip around a recovery week!!)
My question is this - the chances of me getting a 4 hour ride and 1 hour run in this weekend is slim to none, so I'm looking to lock as much training up before my late pm flight on fri. Here is what I am thinking and wanted to see what the group thinks:
1) move thurs long run to wed
2) move bike interval and run from wed to thurs
3) try to do the swim/bike/run combo fri before leaving for the airport
I know that makes for a pretty packed end of week, but seems doable (at least as I sit here on a sunday!)
Any advice is appreciated.

I guess it would depend on how stressed you generally get before you travel. If you're a cool cucumber it could work. If you're like me you'll run the risk of being so fried that you won't resemble your photo ID by the time you get to the airport.
What you propose would put all three of your key workouts back to back to back. That might do more harm than good. Consider nixing the interval bike because, priority-wise, it's the lowest - keep the long run on Wednesday and do the epic on Friday a.m.? Or late on Thursday to put as much time as possible between the two? Or just let the epic workout go.
