Lisa,
Here is a contact I used to find a house. Perhaps she can be helpful. Good luck!

I used Anne Couser to get my house last year. You can email her at simpleedesign@hotmail.com to see what she has available. I can try to find a phone number if you need it. Everything worked out perfect for us!

Anne is GREAT! We rented a house through her last year, and again this year. Her cell is 208-659-9062. She's very quick to respond to emails, too.
Also, I sent my dad some info a couple of days ago about hotels. The Super8 still seemed to have rooms available, not sure about the others. Here's the info:
Silver Lake motel - $109/night? - a few miles north of downtown -

Flamingo Hotel - $100/night, right downtown, along the run course -

Super8 - $70/night - a few miles north of downtown:

I rented this year through Anne. SHe post most of her stuff on Craigslist. Just choose the spokane one and look at vacation rentals and search for ironman and you should get a ton of houses up for rent.
We decided a house would be cheaper for 4 adults and 2 kids... Plus easier than a hotel.
