What a bummer Trevor. I did the same at Kansas City Triathlon 2 weeks ago, second year in a row. I ended with 4:45 today. Not great by personal standards, but not bad either. Considering what I went through, I will take it. First 2 years of my racing were very smooth with no surprises. I guess I am paying the price now. I did choose the skin over a wetsuit, cramps galore from swim exit, all the way to the end, front derailleur stuck in 53 chain ring entire way......and a 1:37 run after that. My day was full. I enjoyed every bit of it.
Will update when I get to a stopping point about my day in Kansas. Traveling until the 29th of June and just stealing time until I get a connection next week. Finished with some disappointment but being the first HIM and going into it thinking to complete vs compete I probably shouldn't be but hopefully learned from lessons for Boulde rin August.

Good luck at IMWI.
