Lake Placid Space Available

Hello, all.

I just wanted to offer that it would appear I will have space available for anyone who still needs a place to stay in Lake Placid.  My brother and I had rented this place (Brookhill, unit 31) intending to bring our families.  However, it will now just be the two of us.

Amenities include:

  • 2BR / 2 full Baths
  • King size bed in the MBR
  • bunk bed (full size on the bottom), twin trundle bed and a twin single in the 2nd BR
  • full size sofa bed
  • TV/DVD
  • Internet
  • Kitchen
  • Washer/Dryer

If anyone is interested, please let me know.  I have the unit from Wed. July 21 - Tue July 27.

    We have two twin beds available, Tues to Tues. If you want to come stay with us, we are in PineHills. Let me know. So far it's my fam, Trent, Kitima + Hubby....and two twins....

    Hi,

    My family and I have a place out in Keene.  I am anticipating that it might be a pain to be out there race morning but I am not sure having not done the race before.  Would it make race morning significantly easier to be right in town?  If so, any chance you will have a spare bed just for Saturday night?

    Just so I don't keep you hanging, my brother and I are considering taking Patrick up on his offer, but I have to make sure I can get back my deposit on the other place first. The rental agreement is pretty harsh, and my reading of it seems to indicate the landlord doesn't have any obligation to give back any of the deposit. So, if they plan to hold our feet to the fire, we'll still have the place, and I'd be glad to accomodate you the night before the race. However, if we can get most of the deposit back, we'll most likely take Coach P's offer and cut the other place loose.

    I'll post back when I have a resolution.

    @Jeremy, for 2-3 races (appearing as coach, not racing, hosted by Dan Socie) I stayed on the river, right on the course, about 4 miles from Keene. Not a problem at all getting up the hill to town on race day. No traffic, etc. We were always able to find a parking spot in the neighborhood above the high school.

    @Jeremy: Looks like we're planning to keep the Brookhill place. If you'd like to be a little closer to town on Sat. night, you're welcome to stay.

    Bump. Anyone need any space at all? I'd prefer to rent Wed. to Tue, but I'll do anything that might help defray costs even a little.

    I'm looking for a place to stay(me and GF) on Sat and Sun night.  I want to volunteer, then sign up for 2011 on Monday morning.  Let me know if you still have the place and what the cost is.  Thanks

    Still available. We are currently set to have 3 people there on Sat & Sun nights, and possibly a 4th on Sat, if @Jeremy is still wanting a place closer to town on Sat. night. The room situation is 2BR and a sofa bed in the LR. The second BR must be pretty big, because it has 3 beds (1 bunk, trundle and a twin). How's $300 for two nights to cover both you and you GF?
