Pick up at Airport

Would anyone have a chance at all to pick a guy up at the airport with a bag and bike box and take him 1.7 miles to his home he is staying at.  Or does anyone know if there is taxi cabs at airport?

I arrive in Lake Placid at 1:44 PM on Thursday the 22nd.

    A guy as tough as you should be able to put your bike together and ride with everything on your back to the place your staying...maybe you'll tyre yourself out and give everyone else a chance to catch you!!!! Don't give him any advantage Dave!
