@ Scott - Wow!. Looks like you turned into a Pac West salmon. That's some fast swim TT. Good work.
@ GH - Hip better today. Rode an ez 35 minutes sitting up the whole way. Then ran 2.5 miles at 8:30 pace. No hip trouble in either workout. Was able to put an ice pack on it before going to work. I think that helped too. I will go check out the stretches per your advice. I'll swim 2morrow.
@Scott- Nice swim, but seeing your weather cut-off for riding outside makes me wonder if you're really from Seattle? Hell, half my races last year from June to September wouldn't have met your criteria for getting out on the bike I'm really hoping the weather is better this year!
Thanks all. I did the same 1000 yd swim just two weeks ago in 16:40ish, so I've already gotten about 9 sec/100 yd faster. It's made a big difference focusing on my form the past couple of weeks.
@ Michael, I guess that's why I tend to go to places like California and Florida for races. And I do tolerate lower temps for races. I've lived in the Seattle area my whole life, but I can't stand cold weather when riding my bike. My cutoff for running is MUCH lower.
