Calling All Austin Peeps

The rumors are true, no more sub-freezing rides in my future. Β My wife and I are puting the winter gear in "cold" storage and moving to Ausitn at the end of July. Β It's going to take some time getting used to 110 instead of 10 and would love ot hook up with any fellow EN'rs in the area.

  • Congrats dude! ATX rocks, way better than DTX (Dallas) or HTX (Houston) in my opinion. Keep Austin Weird!

It's a huge tri community as well, where lots of pros live/train as well. Good times!

I'm down there quite a bit for training and personal fun.
  • I live in San Antonio and travel to Austin a ton. That is also where I race the most. You will want to do The Austin Tri on Labor Day First stop - Jack and Adams on Barton Springs. A great tri/bike shop. Meet Jack while you are there. Then go to Torchy's Tacos on Lamar and have a couple of tacos for lunch. Head to Barton Springs for a cool afternoon swim (it will remind you of the northern watersI. And then you can go to one of two places for Mexican food for dinner - El Arroyo (The Ditch) or Matt's El Rancho (another staple). For a nice fun Austin dinner, the spot in Ranch 616. There are tons of places for a great drink or burger - keep me posted on your arrival. Let me know what you are looking for and I will try to help. If you are in the southern part of the city, my daughter is in sales at Lifetime Fitness and I am sure we could hook you up with some passes if you would like. Bryan
