clothing and wheels for race day???
So I volunteered last year and it was COLD. I am curious to see what you guys have planned in the event.
I am near Ft. Walton Beach for work and last Sunday it was around 54 at 0800 when I started a 4:30 ride. even after 85 miles I never felt like I warmed up. I had on my calf sleeves, tri top under bike top, light wt arm warmers and light wt running gloves. Really wish I had toe covers.
Also I have noticed wind is crazy around here. So wheel cover or not for race day? I am running Gray 5.0 front and 9.5 rear (404/808 equivalent).

Last year's cold weather was kind of a fluke, plus last week was an unusual cold snap here in the panhandle. In early November it's usually in the 50s in the morning and low-mid 70s during the day, but it's *always* windy on the IMFL bike course. Paul's right, we won't know for sure until race week but don't forget to bring rain gear cause that's always a possibility.
Marc...rain gear for bike, run or both? hadn't considered this.
I spectated IMFL one year and it rained all day..there were a lot of people wearing hefty bags on the bike cause they didn't bring rain gear.
