We fired this up about a week or so ago, as WJ said, assiging points to actions/activities on the site that we feel add value / mojo.
We've been busy with other things and have circled back around to take a hard look at the points, what to do with it, etc, but we think it can be a fun tool to steer the team towards activities that add value. For example, welcoming a new trial member would be a ton of mojo. Creating a forum thread would be X points, while replying to an unanswered thread may be more.
Again, PnI have spent about 8' total talking this but will circle back to it and update everyone soon.
Sounds like a lot of work for you and potentially the admins to keep track of and also easy to miss giving everyone their due credit. What I'd suggest is giving all members the ability to award mojo to anyone they feel has earned it. I've seen this sort of thing on other forums where you can give "karma" points to people who are particularly helpful to you personally or the community in general. Maybe you can tier the amount of mojo available to be given out by categories so that coaches have unlimited supplies, WSMs next, then all other members - just a thought. In the end I don't know what it really means aside from a way for the team to show appreciation to those who contribute to the community. We could have a counter that accompanies the post count over on the left so people get a little recognition.
Awe Snapp, I thought it showed those of us who had slow days at work and did nothing but play on the forums and tell people how great they were...oh well, It has been reading and posting all weekend...with or without mojo points Now, Bring on the OS!!!!

It is the fun we have as a group on the forums and at events when we get to meet face to face after months of communicating on the forums.
It's the joy of suffering through an out season together and coming out stronger each season.
It's the way we feel as a TEAM.
The way we help each other daily by motivating and educating.
It's is the FUN the sport brings to us.
And more...
Just my .02
If so, then beats me actually. All I know about that form of mojo is I don't have it
