Become One - Train with Hines Ward to race Kona

Chocolate Milk announced today that Hines Ward will be training for and racing Ironman Kona next year. As a part of the "Become One" Campaign, they are going to pick two everyday athetes (one male, one female) to train and race with him. Check out the page for more details (BTW - I think Liberman is in the clips they show): http://gotchocolatemilk.com/become-one

  • I don't think they'll take me. I'm lactose intolerant. So unless I use it as a weight loss supplement, I won't be recovering with chocolate milk. Maybe recovering from chocolate milk?

There is lactose-free chocolate milk on the market. . . .Or, you can take Lactaid before drinking it. . . .

Actually, I'm allergic to milk (the proteins in it) so can't drink it.

  • I checked the link and am pretty sure they would not pick me. First, i have no clue who Hines Ward is. Since I checked the link, it says he was a former football player. Uh... Never heard of him -- couldn't name his position or team. Second, i have no idea how to create a you tube video. And finally, I do not have any great human interest story to tell other than i would be willing to chug chocolate milk daily as part of my nutrition plan. Think coneheads and consumption in mass quantities.

Think you’ve got what it takes to BECOME ONE? Tell us why you should be chosen to represent ‘got chocolate milk?’ at the IRONMAN World Championship in 2013. Some things to talk about:

    • Why do you want to take this journey? How do you think it will challenge you and change your life?
    • What athletic activities (recreational or competitive) do you participate in now? How often?
    • What’s your AFTER? What is your post-workout recovery ritual or routine?
    • What inspires you and motivates you to move and stay active?
    • If chosen, how will you inspire other athletes who follow you on your journey?
    • Describe a day in your life.

I can't help but think they are looking for a special interest story or BOP to inspire people.
