Free*: Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS (needs work)
I have a Garmin 305 that's yours for the asking; just send me a few dollars to ship it to you from Canada (or from AZ in a few weeks, if you can wait), and you're all good to go with pace.
Here's the problem: you will need to replace the battery, because it's only holding a charge for about 20 minutes. As far as I know, you can send it back to the factory for a costly battery change, or you can take a crack at it, diy-style, following any number of how-to guides available through a google search.
