EN Team Flags- Input Requested
We are looking at adding an EN Flag to the e-store. We have a few options so looking for input.
The first option is to have a 12" x 18" flag. This would be available on the e-store year round and available with quick turnaround. Cost would be $20-25. This is a medium sized flag similar to what many universities sell and could be hung, or brought to races for support.
Option 2 is to have a larger flag...3' x 5'. Cost would be $50-60, but we would have to order in bulk so it would only be available 1-2 times per year.. This is a larger flag that would be good for pain caves, etc..
See attached for a draft of the flag design.

I like both ideas, but would probably opt for the bigger flag. We rented a house on the east side of Mirror Lake and the driveway sits right at the turn around point on that part of the course. Love to fly the EN colors there and have my friends/fam partying for the day get everyone fired up for the last push to the finish.
I would buy BOTH!! Love the idea!
X4 on the font and I will likely get both myself.
Would also put Endurance Nation under the EN logo
Lastly, I never knew understood the X / B 1 before - just finally got it *duh*
Exciting!.. Great job, mysterious ENGear Guy!
Maybe it's b/c I'm from Texas (y'all), but down here, you either go big or go home... Something large enough to take to National Rallies but also monster truck rallies and NASCAR races in the Outseason.
And if 3' X 5' is the largest that the Chinese can produce, than I say we should go with that. Anything smaller is just disrespectful to the haus and frankly encourages Ricky Racer to try to hang with us. Which he can’t. Something that says, "I wanna' be formal but I’m here to party too. I like to party, so I like my team to party."
But that's just me. Who's with me? Who likes their team to party?
As far as the design, another suggestion might be to adjust the bottom red stripe- I don’t know about you fools, but it'll really be too hard for me to read all that when I'm dropping six-minute miles at mile 18. Maybe enlarging the white stripe/logo and then moving the "Work is Speed.." text to a similar-sized red stripe below the logo? And I always think you should leverage the Soviet-era font- that was practically the #1 reason I'd signed up in the first place. I thought, "If these guys are going Cold War on this sport, then they must be serious!" It'll be even more appropriate depending on which way the presidential election goes this week.
I'd probably be in for both. I like the big on for my pain cave for sure. The small option would be good if travelling to a race helping to keep down the suitcase size.

I like the idea of a flag. As a career marketer, I prefer the design that Bart has in his post. Logo is BIG (which means brand awareness), has the full Endurance Nation.US domain, our key motto (Work is speed....), and then room for the subtle things. I want to party with Bart.
Now, if there were smaller sweat towels for the pain cave....
x3 on the towels!
x a gazillion on the sweat towels!!
Coach P - I haven't heard/seen anymore email traffic on this from the crew, so I'm guessing it's handled, but please let me know if anything is needed from me still.
Keep an eye out, folks....these flags are going to rock!
i am interested. My wife was hoping they would be available before Christmas (but I'm not supposed to know that).
Go big or go home!
UM, yespleaseandthankyou to any and all of the above. Flags in various sizes and sweat towels. I'll take many, many sweat towels (if you lived with John, you'd understand).
Can I hang my flag out my window at IMLP like a crazy college kid? I think that might measure up to Bart's vision...
@Jess, you beat me to the window idea. I was thinking nothing more that an EN flag flapping from my hotel room window.
... any interest in those pennant type flags you put on you car window? Imagin 20+ cars in a lot for Team dinner or training camp all with EN pennants on the cars!
