Converting PowerAgent Files

Is there a way to convert "bin" files from my Joule (I use Power Agent) into a WKO or csv file so I can send to the coaches?  Thanks!

Comments

  • I have always used Training Peaks Device Agent to grab the files and send them previously to WKO+ and now to Training Peaks. Perhaps there is a solution there.
  • I am having the same issue. Trying to have some fun with Strava but they don't allow you to upload BIN files. Any idea's here.

Note I also use WKO and power agent. Power agent shows it downloading to Strava but nothing ever shows up there.

    Thanks
  • I asked Strava support and this is the last I got from Elle:

    Hi Steven,

I am running the same version of Power Agent, and I can't get this feature to work either!
I obviously didn't know it existed until you mentioned it - although I am aware that we're working with Cycleops for better device integration with Strava.

I will have to follow up here to try and get an answer for you - this tool should be working if it exists!

    I'll keep you posted.

  • Try this.

    Open Poweragent
    Select Activities
From the File menu, select Export ---> Activity Data
Just select one workout. Suggest you go through all of the steps with one workout and then repeat for all of them.
At the bottom of the dialog box, for the file format, choose Cyclops Power Data. Save the file to your desktop, will be a .csv file
    Open up WKO
Just drag and drop that .csv file into WKO. It should prompt you to select an athlete for the file. Make sure you change the date also, otherwise it will default the date of the file to todays date.
    Save the file/workout in WKO
That should be it. Do that for one file to confirm. I then went back and selected all of my PA files, exported them all, then imported them all in bulk into WKO+ (highlight all of them, drag and drop into WKO+). Worked for me.

From Coach Rich from a post last year.
    I saved the email image
  • Alternatively, you could use Device Agent from TrainingPeaks to save as a .pwx file, which is natively supported by WKO+
