Week 6. You vote on the execise of the Week 2 B Done!

Wow it is week 6 already. This past week we featured the tried tested and true plank. This week let's add a small variation to this move and do the Dolphin pose.See website below.

Week 6 we need a new exercise to add to our core toolbox. The twist this week is you get to choose for the execise of the week. I will put a few exersices out there so you get a feel of what we want to do. When peeps hear about core they automatically think abs(true). So this week I am going to pick on "others". If you have a unique other execise you want to share "give er"(share)

A) Standing Russian Plank - benefit to your aero bike positioning

B) Hip flexor and extension - benefit to your bike/run technique

C) Superman pose - benefit strenthens your "hip girdle"

    Well it's Tues and a good my core workout done with the above 3 moves put in to spice things up. Followed by a good hour of stretching. Just getting the body ready for the Philly 1/2 marathon this weekend so I am not so seized up! Cheers

  • Starting the bike focus plan this week. I'm also going to try to work in some P90X resistance and core stuff. Chest & Back with some ab ripper x this morning.
  • 5 km run followed up with P90X core synergistics X 1 HR, again the above 3 new moves used.
