OK folks, who needs help finding a race in 2013?  Post here!

Also, if you know of any you might suggest like Ironman 70.3 Racine or Rev 3 Quassy (hint:  these are EN focused HIM races) or something else, please post here.

Never too early to start planning!

  •  I highly recommend Toughman half. In Croten on the Hudsen NY.  Challenging course with lots of hills.

  • I would like to have a June 1/2 Iron distance. I'm racing IM Tahoe in the fall.

June 23rd - Syracuse 70.3 is a fantastic race.  Very challenging bike and run course.  I did it in 2010 and 2012 and I'm contemplating going back in 2013 but IMTX is five weeks earlier so I doubt I will want to race again that soon.

  • Anyone else doing Calgary 70.3 in 2013 besides me?
  • Hey east coasters (or anyone else), there is a new race in my neck of the woods (St. Andrews, NB, by the shore of the Bay of Fundy) July 7, 2013:

  •  I've been looking at Syracuse.  The run course doesnt' appear to be that bad, and the only real challeng in the bike course seem to be the first 10 miles with the climb.   Is there anything I'm missing?  I'm kind of tempted to do Steelhead where the swim could be a challenge, if it goes off.

  • Just getting my feet wet in the forums. Here we go...

My "A" race is Beach to Battleship 140.6 on October 26. I'm now looking for race ideas to fit with that race in the training cycle.

    Parameters:
    - I won my age group at Cedar Point (prep for IMFL in November) last year and I have a certificate for a free Rev3 half entry, so I should use that.
    - Live in central Arkansas
    - Currently out-of-work, so I'm trying to manage expenses (triathlon and manage expenses - mutually exclusive), so travel and living expense management is important

Any suggestions? I'm not adverse to well run local races if its a good race and a good travel destination.
