Just a friendly little "bump" to this thread! With all the P90X work Coach R has been doing, we need to make sure he's got the right shade of pink to wear on race day! Anyone else want to play around with the Splish site for a design? FYI- we are limited to their pre-built graphics & fonts, so stuff like the EN Chicka Cowgirl logo won't happen (or at least I can't figure out how to make something like that happen).
Rich, if you wear that I do not know how I could ever top you! Of course as a good coach you could ask all the Men of EN to wear them on that day to help you SUPPORT the team.

I'm not sure there's going to be enough real estate on the front of the Speedo for all those characters. Especially if Coach P keeps up this massive fitness campaign he's got going! I'm pretty sure with all the other EN Sherpas around in EN T's, it's gonna be pretty obvious what the EN stands for!
OK, really dumb question (esp coming from someone who edits docs all day). What is the correct spelling of Chica? Is it Chica or Chicka? (I think Chica, but want to be sure before I start ordering prints!) And the plural of Chica would be Chicas (no appostrophe) right? The possesive for Chica would be Chica's, right? Oy, my head!
OK- I'll take the lead to get Rich's speedo ordered. I'm also going to see about the matching Headsweat Visors for us. Last time I looked there was a minimum Qty of 35, and if that's the case I think we'll want to keep the saying generic (not "cowgirl" specific) so we get more bang for our buck. "EN Chicas Rule" with the Four Keys Chica logo would be my vote on the Visor.

If you're ordering visors, I'd pay for one Nemo, since I am an EN Chica, only doing my IM at LOU. I will be a Sherpa for you all though! Wouldnt miss it!!!!

In all seriousness, I love the idea for a suit! Granted, I'm not an aspiring cowgirl (hmm... never say never), but would love an EN Chicas Rule suit to train it (and race in, even if it will be covered by a wet suit - I'll have the good mojo to get me through).
A headsweat visor would be sweet, too... I don't know if they come in sizes, but I have a heck of a time finding visors that fit which stinks bc I love to wear them. (I have one from REI that I will never give up) - someone pointed out to me that it's because the visors that are typically sold/given away are adult men -- so the swatch of fabric is wider (which is what I don't like, to sit on my forehead where I want it, it cuts into my ear). Anyway... just my random two cents...
So, if you order suits/visors and will allow non-cowgirls to get in on the action, I'm in. I'm a cowgirl supporter even if I won't be there in the flesh...
I'm working the visors behind the scenes. They will be Headsweat Visors and will be embroidered (not heat pressed transfer stuff that wears off in the wash). Because of the min quantanty & up front embroidery setup costs, they are going to say "EN Chicas Rule!" so that any of the EN Chicas can have one- but they will be pink as a special homage to Coach Rich's IMoo Cowgirl Speedo. More details to come soon- but for now, don't worry about the visors, I've got that one.
Kris- I'm not sure if SPLISH will let us put the text on top of the graphic. I think it's an either/or kinda thing. We're a bit limited with what we can actually do to customize those suits. I'll see if I can make that happen though, and if so, I'll drop the EN on the front of the suit so that the "Cowgirl Supporter" can be a little bigger. I'll try to post something later today.
my beau (is that a "DB") got a catalogue for swimsuits that is super cool... I took it to look through. It does custom suits for teams, etc. If it's not Splish I'll let you know what it is so you can weigh that as an option. How fun... I wish IMFL had a cool logo like EN Cowgirl. Now I might just have to sign up for IMWI in the future.

I've been chasing down the headsweat visors and working with Beth on the design. They will be awesome! But it's taking a lot more effort than I expected and sorta zapping my time to work on the swimsuit. Could we maybe get another volunteer to head up that effort? Rich wants us to order extras so he can recruit the MidWest Mafia to join him. We just gotta settle on the design & the vendor and then get Rich to tell us how many he wants :-)
Would be awesome to have it at Moo Camp. Not necessarily for Rich to put on, but to present to him in front of everyone and give us all a little chuckle!
