  • @ Joe, no idea.... seems very odd indeed. Can you post your file (FIT or TCX) to play with?

Have you tried asking support at Garmin about that?
  •  It won't allow me to upload upload a tcx.  heres a link to my Garmin Connect...for the workout...see if it lets you in.

  • Is your Garmin set to get pace from GPS or Foot Pod?

It seems like your reported pace is not from the same data stream as your gps positioning. I can see no other way to run for 7:00 and cover 1 mile, but have Pace reported as 6:34.

Check your settings for the footpod.
  •  Hey ya know...I hadn't considered that..I only just purchased a footpod(for cadence)...and my have somehow altered the setting to pick that up...huh...thanks.

  • Not to steal thye thread, but, I am getting some weird info as well. Ran a 12k this weekend in 56:20 (approx 7:33/mile.) GArmin saays I ran 7.52 miles (pretty close) in 56:20 @ 7:59 / mile. Huh? It gives each of the 1 mile splits accurate by time but pace is about 30 seconds off on each mile. I do not get it?
  •  Do you have a foot pod?  This was indeed my issue...I had recently added the foot pod and forgot to check that the pace recording was from the GPS not the footpod...............sorted it out and this weekends run seems to be correct.
