No way to add an event in Groups

Here is a quote from CP in the Saint George Group, recon thread.

"New events tab added to groups, even IMSG Group. Anyone want to load up this event there?"

There is no way to add an event. From my profile page on the activity tab I have several options one of wich is to add an event. However under the IMSG Group, under the activity tab there is no option to add an event. I am not sure if this is a quick fix, but currently we can not add an event for the group. This is just FYI for you guys, I'm sure you have plenty of other things going on right now...
