Saturday Trainer Ride
Today’s ride was for me. It was to see if I could get my mojo back after my Thursday crappy ride where I began to fall apart on the second six minute 110% interval and cratered on the last one.
Since the 10 x 30/30s were declared optional, I took my option and bagged them. FTP work was the order of the day to determine if I truly was too toasted to continue the Power Clinic regiment.
So I did the standard Intermediate OS Saturday ride. Here are the results:
2 x 15 at 93.9% and 93.7%.
2 x 15 at 84.7% and 85.2%.
Today’s ride was to measure my body’s ability to stick to it, and also, more than a bit for my ego.
Today I got at least a small portion of my mojo back.

Today after warm-up I hit the 5 x 1'(1') - AKA 10x30/30s- no problem
3x10' (4') @FTP. Tried to stretch this to my old FTP and made it for all 3. Of course it was only 7 watts higher than my OS start FTP, so we aren't talking HUGE like some of you boys.
32' @ 87%
By then the seat was coming loose (it's new) and I had to end it or risk falling off (which has happened before with a loose seat).
Total time was 1:45:xx because I had the time and decided not to BRick. Still being a weanie about my hair turning to ice just for a 15' run.
