Fixing EN 5.0 -- We Need Your Help

First of all, thanks for your patience as we get up and running again. Many of you have been submitting support tickets (https://endurancenation.zendesk.com/forums) for your personal issues, but there are quite a few site-wide things that need adjusting. We are on it and promise to keep you posted, but in the meantime we'd appreciate you posting here if you find something that needs a tweak or overhaul.

Whenever possible, please note the page you were on when the incident happened as well as what you were doing at the time...

    Getting an error on certain Forum topic pages that Forums aren't available.
  • A lot if the race specific groups don't "work". The older ones (2010-2011) seem to work but not the newer ones. They have little red negative signs by them...

  • picture posting to the dashboard not working for windows 8 ?
  • I can't seem to get to the Data tool. When you search for the Data Tool, the link comes up first. But when you click it, the site kicks you back to the main page instead.
  • The layout for our profiles are all messed up. My address is intertwined with my VO2 and power numbers.
  • I loaded up the 8 week get faster plan, tried both beginner and intermediate. Both are only 6 weeks long.

    It says " You are on week -1 of 6 (8 weeks remaining). Ends 3/31/2013 " at the top, to me it looks like the last two weeks are simply missing from the plan, when I look at week 6 I do not see any tests for run or bike in the last week.
  • When in the dashboard, it shows a 2-day sneak peak. The training workouts posted are from last week, not this week. The training plan is correct in the traiing plan view - only in the dashboard view do these workouts no line up.
  • Need to login every time I access the site. Used to save my info.
  • What happend to the My Groups function? I really don't want to have to scoll thru a long list of groups from races or outseasons from 2-3 years ago to get to the groups I want to see.
  • In the training plan page workout details/descriptions are cut off if description is longer than space provided in workout day box. No way to click to expand or take you a new window to see remaining description.

  • No problems on the signing in (both Chrome and Firefox).
    But I can't figure out how to change my signature line......
  • My training plan on the dash is correct but when I switch to the full plan it's one week in front (week 6 instead of week 5 of JOS)
  • Disregard previous about not having to log in each time.... Regardless of browser and destination page, I am now having to log in each visit.

    I do have to provide credentials for every login via a desktop, but ye olde iPad has never asked. Not even after the upgrade. Crazy, right?
  • Few issues with loading new plan. Get faster plan is only 6 weeks long and on my training page the workouts are cut off... missing all info under "Workout". Can't find where to get the rest of it. Thanks!

    Just a comment on the display. It would be nice if you could switch back to the Black Text on White Background, instead of the Black Text on Gray Background. I would equate it to having a bright yellow text on a white background. It makes it difficult to read and causing a lot of eye strain. image

  • I don't see most of the images, they look as blue squares with white question marks in them.

    Since this is a suggestion box, I want to make the suggestion to go back to the previous version which was working 1000 times better than what we have today.

    I was in the forum typing a new post. Tried to insert one of the Smilies from the menu on the right. FAIL! It went to the end of the post, and instead of inserting the photo of the smiley, it inserted the word 'crazy:'.
  • Can't seem to edit the data at the bottom of my avatar. Was able to upload my photo though.
  • X3 on the get faster plans being truncated to 6 weeks. The 8 week plans will only display 6 weeks. I can't access my plan for next week. :-(
  • the background is terrible! Makes it very hard to read.
  • I would love to cast another vote for returning the white background. The gray makes is harder to read...and much harder on a mobile device. Also seems like there's so much space in each entry that it takes much more scrolling than before to catch up on the dashboard posts. Sorry for the craziness that caused all this for you guys!

  • all of this is noted, folks...we have a few meetings this week and will try to address as many of these issues as we can! Change is never easy, and the way this all went down makes it even less so. It's awesome to be such an important part of your tri-lifestyle and please know we are working on it!!!
  • Again - apologies if this has been posted already. I was gone for a few days... The mobile app now takes you straight to the web site instead of your mobile training plan.
