Garmin 310xt international usage?

I'm going to be traveling a bunch over the next month (to New Zealand and Australia). Has anyone had any experience using the 310xt outside of the states? Will it connect?

Wondering if it will work or if I should prepare to be without it. Not seeing anything on the Garmin site and their customer service is taking forever to reply.

You should have no problem. It will probably take a bit longer to acquire the satellites the first time , but after that should be fine.

It worked just fine in Germany when I traveled to IM Regensburg. Like Tim said, make sure to turn it on before the race day.

As others have stated, once location is established you will be fine. Same satellites visible world wide. Each one orbits twice per day
