Hand wash in the sink with a mild detergent (woolite) and then hang to dry. I stick them back on the bike and then hang the bike upside down in the garage where I always put it.

+1. When mine start to get stiff with sweat, I just buy new ones. They usually are losing their bounce within a year, anyway.
But this is coming from someone who rarely cleans his frame, much less aero arm rest pads. Come to think of it, what about saddles? I actually wash mine now and then, but only because it's white.
I put mine in a mesh bag and then just throw them in the washing machine with the rest of our athletic wear. But, for my indoor rides, I put a towel across the armpads and basebars so as to minimize the funkiness of the pads, and to try to keep the cockpit from getting all nasty w/ sweat.
