Custom Cycling Shoes

Does anybody have any experience with custom made cycling shoes like Rocket, Riivo, Bont, or D2?

 Thoughs and experiences appreciated.  My feet get very uncomfortable and hotspots after 3hrs or so.   Condition is exacerbated by rough roads. I also get cold easy and keeping pressure on the pedals squeezes the blood out of my feet.   Recently tried some orthotics in my T3's and they maybe more plush  underneath  but they take up too much room .  I have short , wide feet and when I take the insole out and stand on it they look way too narrow.

I fussed with shoes for years, paying stupid amounts of money for orthotics, semi-custom, latest-and-greatest; you know the drill.

Finally I bit the bullet and went with a pair of D2 shoes. Ahhhh. Foot heaven.
