The IMTexas 13 Gouge thread
I found this trolling one of those other sites and thought that some might be interested. Its a preview of the IMTexas run course (1 loop). I also thought a consolidated thread of like info that peeps come across might be useful. YMMV.

thanks for the links.
roy do you have the links to the other three bike parts?
@Tom - agree with you comment about the 3 loops. Makes it easy to see friends / family, know rhe aide stations, and to mentally stay in your box.
@Robin - looks like the other videos have yet to be posted from the Ironman site (says 'coming soon').
Is anyone planning to ride the course prior to the race? I live in Austin and was thinking about driving over for a race rehearsal, but haven't fully committed yet... putting it out there.

@ Roy thanks for posting these they are great...
The course looks fast... I love the part about rolling hills, and were climbing here etc.... pretty funny... but I'm sure in the heat and wind those little undulations in the road turn into hills!
I am staying in a cheap hotel in Conroe. Anyone else staying up there?
I am coming the tuesday before and leaving the monday after.
Just me and mom.
