2013 IM-Moo RR#2 Ride Near Philadelphia
Looking ahead to the Race Rehearsals for Ironman Wisconsin. It seems like RR#2 will fall on Aug 24. By sheer luck, or the best planning I've ever seen by non-associated events, the 2013 Ride the Nock is scheduled for that day -- http://www.suburbancyclists.org
The Nock is Lake Nockamixon located just outside of Doylsetown, PA. http://bit.ly/YcNgEV -- last year the ride was 107 miles of rolling to hilly terrain which sound suspicious like the IM-Wisconsin route--and there is running off the bike in the park.
Right now I think there are two EN peeps that will be using this as a RR. If you're in-or the area and looking for a RR, this may be for you.
I've done some of the Suburban Cyclist rides in the past and they were ok organization wise. Has anyone in da haus ridden this route or done this Century in the past?0

I have done the the quad (about 75 miles) in the spring and did the Nock last year. Those guys do a great job. Well marked scenic routes with good support. The food stops are so well stocked it's hard to stick to Tri simulation fueling and get back on your bike quickly. I will try to get to both again this year if work allows. Being at the Jersey shore, I have to drive to get to hill rides and they're not very expensive.

I've done some races in/around the area and I soft-of remember that hill out of the Transition area from a Du a few years back. After that I think it got little easier...
Glad to hear the Century is organized and well marked! That's the key to a good RR: knowing where to turn!

I rode it about 4 yrs ago. Plenty of hills. Should be good training. The aid stops are definitely insane -- you could come away from that ride 10lbs heavier just by grazing at the stations!!!!!!! Well organized, good friendly event and a beautiful ride.
