Training Plan Sneak Peaks
Suggestion: As I'm planning for summer vacations and holiday travel I need to get a feel for the workouts months from now. Like, June/July/August and the only to accomplish that is to change my training plan to the one I should be using at that time and move the weeks around. Easy enough, but there isn't a "I'm changing my plan to get a sneak at the workouts and then I'm going to change it back" reason for changing the plan.
It would be better if I could get a 10,000 foot view of the projected works without having to re-work everything. Like, I know that the weekend of July 21/22 is the 13th week of my IM training... but it took some work to find out about the 40-minute run/4-hour ride on Saturday and the 3-hour ride on Sunday.

Dan,
Check out this overview wiki entry(http://members.endurancenation.us/Resources/Wiki/tabid/91/Default.aspx?topic=2012+Plan+Training+Hour+Charts) and this detailed spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvCYkX_CIWHxdDFxWWVDdnpfQmpDdmdOby1qMENqcXc#gid=19) for some info on hours by week and discipline. These are for 2012 plans but I would bet the basics are the same this year. Also this season plan sheet (https://www.box.com/shared/ep4yl6vonz) gives you the weeks with the important days: Race Sim, Big day etc for the majors.
I used these last year to make entries in my calendar so I knew what was coming up when. Usually for the IM you will have a Race Rehearsal Saturday 6 weeks out (week 14/20) and 3 weeks out (week 17/20), and a big day in week 11/20.
Ditto to Kim. I've gone in and out of different plans by changing my plan, such as the IM and HIM plans as well as intermediate and advanced versions while I was in the JOS, so I could get a feel for what any week in the training plan looked like. You can change your plan as much as you like, then when finished, go back to the plan you are actually in.
