Anybody use the Lezyne Pressure Drive Pump?

This looks like it might be a good idea for day-of-race inflation, especially when using a wheelcover.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

  • Something tells me that there's no way imaginable you'd get close to 120psi out of that thing. Well maybe after 200-300 pumps and five minutes.

Lezyne makes a travel pump that's a way better option and it comes with a 90 degree adaptor made for disc wheels. It's called the CNC Travel Drive.
  • I've read that Lezyne is top of the line. I've never seen one let alone used one, but the Lezyne travel pump is on my list to buy when my current travel pump goes. Meanwhile, the old crack pipe has never failed me when inflating my disc wheel, or regular wheel with disc cover.
  • Thanks guys. @Bob - glad it's not just me that wonders about the 120psi claim.....
  • I was looking at that as well and figured there was no way I would be able to get the tire up to pressure. I have the lezyne travel pump. I like it, but I still need a third hand to hold it on. It's not any easier than the crack pipe, at least not for me, but it is small and light.
