IMMoo, The Hills on the Run?

I'm looking for info on the run elevation stuff.

I've seen the elevation profile but it's impossible to put a microscope on small sections of that 26 mile summary.

I'm wondering if anyone out there who has raced Wisconsin has the info in their logs.   IIRC from that elevation profile, there's 8 inclines and I'm wondering how long they are and roughly what % grade.

Focus your attention on Observatory drive as that's where the real hills are. Also, running up State Street to the capitol can be tough. But on the first lap you're at mile 12-13 so not a big deal and at the end of the run it's in the last mile or so but tons of mojo and you're almost done so...

Other than that, I wouldn't call IMWI a particular hilly course. It's just a run in an area that's mostly sorta flat with some hills but there is nothing particular long or crazy...though the stuff on Observatory can bite if you're in a bad place.

Chris, I bought the book "Racing Ironman Wisconsin" It's a super easy read and pretty cheap on amazon. It's got a detailed profile of each mile. If you want you can borrow my copy, I'll just ship it to ya.

X2 What Coach Rich said. I would not call it a hilly course. A few hills...yes...hilly? no.

I 'ran' up Observatory hill on the first lap. The guy walking up it next to me finished the hill just a few seconds after I did. So, I power walked it the second lap.
