TED Talk on Paleo diet
Fellow team mate and Ottawa Sleeper Cell member Naomi Gilker and I often talk about our diets. She shared this TED talk with me today and it was very thought provoking.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMOjVYgYaG8&feature=youtu.be

But anyway, here's a good and easy read from the skeptic's point of view:

I am not an expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night... Just kidding... I have read a lot of nutrition books , like any good discussion if presented well they make a lot of sense... I have chosen to go "plant based" for many reasons and do not consider it a diet but more of a way of life ..... I'm happy with my choice and do not care to argue for it or against it... Likewise with Paleo or any other "diet"....
Check out what the Kenyan's and the Tarahumara eat.

Hate to even say I'm on it since it's a polarizing subject, so it's easier to tell people we try to eat clean and avoid processed food as much as possible. We shoot for 90% modified paleo. It pains me more that after 5 months, I feel a lot better, recover better, and oddly sleep better. Last year I use to mock my friend who was on the diet for what I thought is such a stupid premise. I've come 180. But as much as I enjoy lean meat, I hate eating crow
Interesting video
