Cause of cramps

I'm reading this book reco'd by another EN teammate called the Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance and came across something interesting I wanted to sure about the cause of muscle cramps... The book explains that it is likely a magnesium deficiency vs sodium or calcium. I'm not saying it is correct, just sharing another possible cause. I havent had this issue but I know several of u have struggled with cramps and have tried sodium loading and drinking pickle juice. My personal nightmare blech! Anyway they say if you are prone to cramps, magnesium deficiency may be the culprit. Scrren shots of the pages attached. Hope that helps someone!!!
