Blew my RR Brick today
Hi coach - I went out strong for my RR bike this morning. Rode 56 miles, and although my legs felt fatigued, my HR was great. When I jumped off my bike however, my groin started talking to me (thanks possibly to the new saddle I'm trying out.) Needless to say, I decided not to run for an hour and rest/ice instead. I feel fine now, and plan to address the saddle issue before next bike.
Training questions for this week.... I'm in HIM Week 14. Tomorrow should be a rest day. Assuming the groin was just a pressure issue and not an injury, should I run the 6 miles instead of rest?
Next Sunday I have an opportunity to ride the Raleigh bike course. Should I redo my RR then? What would this do to my training schedule if you agree I should do over? Thanks!
