Race on May 18th, Week 18 question

Hey Guys,

 I am currently in week 12 of the Beginner Ironman training for IM CDA.

 I have two questions:

1. I am doing a HIM distance triathlon (C priority race) on May 18th which is in week 15 of the training plan. This is also the day I am scheduled to ride 6 hours or 112 mi and run 1 hour or 6 mi. What should I do on this day?

2. I want to clarify the posting on Saturday in week 18 (had to look ahead to schedule time off from work) of the beginner IM training plan. I think it is a typo. You have scheduled a 40 min run, 6 hour bike or 112 mi, and then a 60 min run or 6 mi. Is this correct or do I just do the 6 hr bike and 60 min run?

  • @Kriss, your should race the half and tear it up...that workout is a race simulation, so I would bump it to the May 3rd (Sat) and take the Sunday off...you'll need some rest after!

    That other workout is a typo...should be 112 and 6....I will fix it! (that's RR #2)
