Swim Golf Question

What kind of RPE are you doing?

I start the practices with a score of 90-92, RPE of 8-9ish.

Finish the session with scores of 85-87, RPE of 9ish.

likin' the declining scores, but the pace for the 50 isn't something that I could hold much longer than a 100-200 or so.  At least at this point.  Should my Swim Golf 50's be done at a RPE that is similar to my longer race efforts?

  • I do them as all out sprints - 50s with about 30-40 s rest between. My times equate to 10-12 s/100 faster than my TT pace. The best I've done is 72 this year, usually more like 73-75. Last year this time, I couldn't break 80.

    Don't know if I have that big of a drop in my future, half of that would be super. I'm hoping to drop to a consistent 82-84 by September.
