I keep on forgetting to put my workouts in my garmin on Sunday, so I hopped on the mill and killed the 5 x .5 miles at Z4 today and for the cool down I took it outside and felt like an animal. Can I get a woot!

Outside. Always. {knock on wood} I have not had to do a 'mill run at all this year. So far the weather has been at least tolerable for going outside.....and with the heat/humidity picking up, it is trending from tolerable ---> nice -----> terrible. Oh well, it helps for the suck-it-up-buttercup mental fortitude.
I did the outside hill workout yesterday. I use a hill that is .25 of a mile and with an 17% grade. Did the plyometrics-slow bounding up and sprinting over the top and man was it hard. I did this after my bike and swim.
Followed this up with a swim and mile repeats this morning on a treadmill and it was very hard. I was not able to hit my TP. Actually off 10-20 seconds at times but finished out the hour with 7.3 miles.

45' on the trainer for me. Snow and freezing rain made for some icy conditions.
