Input on Road Bike Helmets please

I know helmets can be a bit like shorts in that personal preferences vary greatly.  That said..would like input on your favorite roadie helmet.  I like the idea of lighter weight and venting is a key benefit I'm seeking.



I'm looking at Giro Aeon and  Specialized S3, among others.  The S3 especially is a bit pricey.  Any thoughts/suggestions?

For the last 5 years, I used my old Giro Pneumos, that I found on clearance (no longer make that model) years before and bought two.

I finally decided on upgrading, and had a 30% coupon for a LBS, and got two new Specialized Prevails (one black and one white - gotta coordinate!!). Love em!

I got a Rudy Project Sumthin' that matches the EN kit. Light, very vented, protect my lid, looks awesome, etc

I use a Specialized Prevail. Super light and lots of air flow but it seems all helmets stick up off the top of my head a mile. I'm looking for a lower profile deal

If I had to buy a new one I'd go with a Kask 4 sure - tried one of these one time and it fits so freaking perfectly!!
At the moment I'm riding a Uvex which is also very nice (and way cheaper than the Kask)

I recently got a Giro Aeon and really like it. You need to find one that fits well. It also seems to let me see a little better when on the aero position.

Robin, I am jealous! I ordered my Air Attack as a preorder in January and still haven't received it. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
