EPIC Day - BBW

I'm currently thinking where to ride on my planned "EPIC DAY" of my BBW.

I've planned to go for 160km which is 20km more as I rode the "BIG Days". As I will have at least 2 full days of recovery but maybe even 3 (due to travel schedule) I'm thinking of doing something really evil and nasty to my feet ....

What do you think of that one:

160km / >2200m(7300ft) of climbing -> http://www.bikemap.net/route/2089328

or should I go a little bit less aggressive with that one

165km / >1900m(6400ft) of climbing -> http://www.bikemap.net/route/2089371

  • The first. That huge climb looks brutal, but the descent should be a blast!
  • No question the first one. Just don't burn yourself out entirely in the first hour, although hitting those first climbs kinds hard should soften you up for the kill @ miles 60-65 and the end of the ride. You could easily go over 300 TSS if you wanted to, a great way to end if you have 2-3 days to recover.

    I don't think it's your feet which will hurt, though.
