Just wondering if anyone has heard about this wheels.  I looked them up and seems like there is a few vendors so not sure exactly if they are all  the same chinese manufacturer.  Any comments? good or bad from first hand experience?

  • I've got a couple sets...one on my road bike and one on my TT bike. I was tired of damaging expensive Zipps, etc from training or kids/accidents in the garage. They have been bulletproof. I bought the 50MM and 80MM carbon clinchers and now just rent race wheels for my big races. I've been happy with the build quality and durability, certainly when considering the price.
  • I've got a set of 60/80s and they've been great. I built them up with blade spokes and c-4 hubs + an ultegra cassette. My initial concern was the braking surface being troublesome but i've had no issues.
  • FLO wheels are from China, correct?
  • Flo wheels are made in Taiwan, I believe, but all ya gotta do is go onto the Flo Cycling web site and check their blog posts. Their 60 and 90 models are aluminum box rims with bonded carbon fairings. I train on them and raced on them, along with several other Mapso Tri club members, at Quassy yesterday. Similar profile to Zipp's wheels and much less expensive. Hoping to get a set of Flo 30's for my road bike to replace my very old wheels. Chris and Jon are very responsive to customer input.
