Tensor Fascia Latae / ITB issues - help!
Hello - anyone out there have any problems with your tensor fascia latae? I have been around the block with ITB issues (now still have to stretch a lot), but the above is new. The pain feels like a rubber band is tightening around the area where the leg meets your hip...went to sports massage yesterday and he thought the pain/tightness has to do with the above.
Sound familiar to anyone? Advice on how to make it go away?!

That goes along well with ITB issues. Make sure you keep stretching/foam rolling, and focus up closer to the hip. Also likely due to hip weakness (same as ITB), since if your hip abductors and external rotators are weak, you'll wear out the TFL. I recommend clam shells as the go to exercise. This is a good video to make sure you are doing them correctly.
