Power Meter Not Working

Hi gang, went for a ride today and my power meter is not working. It was working on my 3hr rainy ride on Saturday and the today no go. Battery was replaced just before the last JOS bike test, so that should not be the issue. Not sure what to do for trouble shooting. Can anyone direct me please?  Thank you.

If you have a powertap, you might try replacing the battery holder (the black plastic piece that you snap out of the hub). When my pro+ died a month ago, they told me to try that, and it worked like a charm. There are electronics in there that seem to be a little more vulnerable than the rest of the hub. I'm thinking about keeping an extra around just in case. It's only 9.95

Thanks Bob. I did snap off something on that thing when I originally put a battery in last year. Might need to be replaced. I will start with a battery and then if not I will go to my bike shop (looks like they are one of the dealers for Cycle Ops) and see if they have one of those holders. If not, I guess I will just order and ride old school until it arrives.

Brenda - hope you figure it out soon. I don't know about you, but I can hardly ride my road bike any more without a power meter.

Check the firmware updates if any. My G3 is doing the same. Told there's a firmware update that fixs a bug that causes the hub to sleep and not wake up and/or not shut off thus rippin' through batteries.
