HIM Adv week 16 - my poor toe still hates me.

The toe is still screaming at me... I'm not sure if it is broken just badly sprained or something.  In any case, I still can't run much on it.  Last week you advised me to skip the long run Thurs and do a moderately longish run on Sun of 60-75 minutes.  Well, I skipped the Sunday run... it was just bothering me too much.

So, I'm wondering how to adjust for this week?  I'm starting to really freak out.    I am contemplating going to my podiatrist... even though I know there isn't really much they can do for my poor pinky toe even if it is broken, I'm thinking that then i would at least have a plan for how long I need to be off of it, etc.  thoughts?

  • Kortney I'd go with the aqua running now and yes, get a proper RX and then we can plan on action steps (ha ha ha) that will get you back to 100% health...sorry, I know how badly messed up toes can hurt!
